The Sound Archives Collection contains a large sampling of audio files from the non-commercial sound recordings collections in Hutchins Library's Department of Special Collections & Archives. These recordings document Appalachian history and culture and the history of Berea College and are especially strong in the areas of fiddle and banjo tunes; ballads and songs; Old Regular Baptist singing and preaching; folktales and legends; radio programs; and oral history.
